    Hi there,

I am Andy, originally from Chichester in the UK where I used free time as well as lecture time practicing down the local snooker club.

Moved to Milan for a few years where I missed my frames snooker, but met my future wife there. We then moved onto Copenhagen where we live now.

Discovered a couple of years ago a fine club called 'Copenhagen Pool & Snooker'. Every Wednesday evening I play against my ex-colleague.

Now I play more regularly as well as investing in a decent cue, I am constantly getting breaks over 20. :-) I managed a 40 break just 3 weeks ago which is only 3 shy of my highest ever!

I am a software developer by trade. In my other free time as well as being a family man I develop iOS iPhone applications. (I have actually a free snooker scoreboard app I have created! If anyone is interested please either IM me or let me know if its ok to mention as I am unsure of regulations of site)

Anyway enough about me. I look forward to discussing snooker (playing as well as watching the pros) with you guys & girls.

          Thanks for the welcome guys!
My first hurdle for sure is getting a break over 50. I would be well chuffed with that.
Yes its great to have a descent club here in Copenhagen. There are some good amateur players over here.

Forgot to mention why I love Snooker so much. Used to have a 5ft table up in the loft from when I was about 10 in 1983. I like playing it for the thought processes required & break building where there is a means to target better performance out of one self.

Watching it is secondary, but still very addictive.

some sections of the forum do not count posts towards your post counts, like Newbies and Intros.

Please can you post the name of the scoreboard app, I would like to give it a look.

I also can't use the DM section as I have only just joined.

                              Hi Andy

                              Welcome to the forum.

I live in Waterlooville about 10 minutes from Chichester snooker club and would occasionally pop in there to play my cousin when he used to play.

Nice club with plenty of tables.

Nice to hear they play a bit of snooker in Denmark.
