New Member in Surrey - Looking for playing partner!

Hello All, my names is Chris and I absolutely LOVE snooker! Been playing a lot more recently and now wanting to find others that are looking to play on a regular basis. I'm reasonably skilled and after plently of practice I'm able to make breaks of between 20-40 pretty consistently. I'm based in Kingston upon Thames but am able to travel around Surrey/London within reason.

Hi j6uk, used to play a lot at the twickenham Riley but I'm now wanting to find a club ideally to play a few nights a week, anywhere in the Surrey area really, happy to drive 30 mins or so to get there! Any ideas?

i used to play there when it first opened early 90s, was a few nice players around then. if your in kingston theres some good players at the club on the cambridge rd by the peel pub, think the owners gary whos a nice fella
if i was you id look to joining some of the little members clubs in and around surbiton area, then theres the epsom snooker league. some very good payers and a friedly sceen. contact them and youll get the low down

Good shout about joining a club round there , and playing in the Epsom Snooker League .

I am the Assistant Secretary of the League as well .

If you can pay a visit to Frames in Coulsdon , you should be able to get a regular game down there . Players of all standards down there .

Thanks for the updates both, yes I'm looking to join one of the members clubs if possible! I'm heading over to the Epsom Club on Thursday actually as I've heard it's quite nice!

Neil, any recommendations on which club would be best to choose or might need players? I'm a very friendly face so won't cause any trouble aswell!

Small world , i am going to be in the Epsom Club on Thursday for a get together with the Secretary and Treasurer of the Epsom Snooker League ! So may well see you there .

Season is half way through , so you will struggle to join a team i would have thought .

Frames do a weekly Comp on a Thursday which is very good . Handicapped competition . £10 entry .

Hi Chris ,

Meant to say that there are 2 Clubs in Epsom next to each other . The Epsom Club and The Epsom Conservative Club .

I will be in the Conservative Club , which has about 7 teams in the League and is the better Club to play out of .
