Hey guys and girls, I'm from remote NSW in Australia. 120 km round trip to go to the snooker comp every Tuesday! Just bought myself a new full size table to practice on. Got a cheap eBay cue but seems to be going ok at the moment. Is it the cue that makes the player? Or the player makes the cue? Looking forward to getting to know you guys here and learning more about this great sport.! Olympics here we come!?!?

welcome to TSF Sundog
120km - now that is dedication!
no surprise you got yourself a table at home
love to see some photos of your setup
cue does not make the player
but of course if you find one that just suits you down-to-the-ground then a good player will be confident and comfortable so will probably play to their top form
are you watching the WSC?
I understand no TV channel is broadcasting the events in AU, but you could try snookerroom.tv they have both tables
to add images - with TSF attachments you need over 10posts or you can use photo-websites, for example:

Hi Sundog, good to hear from you and your dedication. Back in the eighties, whilst working in both Sydney and Melbourne I use to play in the RSL leagues. So I know what tough players you guys are. Was just saying on this forum the other day, my mother-in-law has a full size table in Hobart. I don't seem to get much of a tan whenever we visit, wonder why?Highest break to date? 1
