abit off the topic question on your own thread though
I do say if you can find a good Elk ,That would be good enough to play the game with.
It's a matter of personal preference, so just in case you gonna give Laminated tips a try, ADR Tips and Phonix tips are better than kamui (from my point of view, of course).

If you play with Elk / Or any kind of tips at the time AND it suits your game ( it works well for you ),
Then Please do not change it and stick with it .

My friend , I'm realy happy the cue suits your game and you can enjoy playing with.
Maximus are in general good players . ( general was the word maybe I shoulda ve used it in my first post too ).
But No cue range in the world can be guaranteed to be a top quality piece of wood. Each cue has to be judged on its own.
It could be maximus for you ( as well as many other players I talked to ) OR , it could be TW JP for Sumone els.
As long as You're happy and the cue suits your game, stick with it and enjoy cuz that's all you need + practice .

BTW, if you get sum time to post a picture of your cue ( on section : post a picture of your cue )
That would be Nice . I always love to see sum nice pictures from lovely cues .
