  • West Midlands/Black Country Cue Makers

    Bonjour petit pois!

I've been looking to buy a decent cue for years now and have always wanted a Parris handmade to my spec.

But recent protectionist movements in the US and with the Brexit vote, I thought I'd look closer to home.

Is there a reputable cue maker in the West Midlands or even better still in the Black Country does anyone know?

    Much appreciated for any replies.

The only two I know of are below, anyone know of any others?

Burroughes & Watts (www.burroughesandwatts.com) Sutton Coldfield, West Midlands - this company is not the same as the old company, they just own the name and lean towards the old-link.

CueCraft (www.cuecraft.com) Worksop - close but not exactly West Midlands

Glovers Cues aren't far away from you mate if you're looking for Midlands based cue makers.
I'm in Nuneaton whihc isn't far from Coventry and it's a 25 mnute drive towards Burton, Well worth the trip.

Tony Glover (cues.co.uk) in Moira Swadlincote, I did not include this as MLK was very specific to the local area and to me (a southerner) Swadlincote was not local

of course, MLK, if you expand your field, there opens up many other UK makers

Yes they are... from my own experiences I've seen alterations he has done to friends cues and he always does a good job.
I usually use him for my tips, sticks one on in 5 minutes for about £3 and gives your cue a full clean at the same time, great bloke.
I'd advise ringing ahead to check he's in as I once turned up and he was shut, don't want you making a wasted journey!

Is that the Dean Jones that used to be at B&W Billiards when they shut down?
