    Hello From Peterborough

    I've literally just joined this forum and am looking forward to getting involved in the discussions. I've been out of the game for the last few years and am looking to return. Highest break is only 34 so some might argue I've never been in the game!
    I've just placed an order for a Woods handmade cue to get me started again. Does anyone have an experience of this manufacturer that they would like to share? I figured the low cost was worth a punt.
    I'd also be interested to hear views on local snooker clubs as I'm currently travelling in to Huntingdon but am keen to explore others....I should mention that we moved to the area 2yrs ago from the West Midlands so are not completely familiar with what's around here.

    Hi mate. Hope you are settling in OK. I live in St Neots and have been to the 147 club in huntingdon. Have not played for a while, recently got a cue and am planning to play in the local con's club. I previously played league snooker for the con's club in Peterborough. Worth trying to join there if you can as there are lots of players there and good quality cheap tables!
    I went into a chemist and asked for a deodorant, the assistant said "ball, stick or aerosol", "No, I want it for under my arms!" was my reply.
