Hello from the Isle of Wight

Morning all, been playing snooker on and off for years but recently I've joined a team and been receiving some coaching.

But think I am due an upgrade, I love the weight (think it's 17.5 oz) but think I need something better.

what are your thoughts? Also why are the weights not exact?

Even wood that has the same volume and shape has various densities and therefore the weight also varies.

I have many 2" x 5ft lengths of ash at home and although they are the same shape and size it's amazing the difference i weight.

If you love the weight ( and are doing good with it ), why do you feel the need to get something better?
