  • Straight pink

Hi , im a beginer i try to improve my cueing , i started with a straight pink to right corner , the cue ball is near the midle pocket ( less then 12 inches uncomfortabe position ) i try to pott the pink and scrow back the cb tO the midle pocked , i allways end by Missing the pott or getting the cb stuck in pink spot .
Is this realy a hard shot ?? Or my cueing is too bad

Every shot is a hard shot to a beginner.

It's not a good idea to practise straight screw shots because it encourages you to get your cue out of the way too quickly.

First, try just potting a straight pink. Then try again from a small angle. Then increase the angle.

If the pot is not a problem, place the cue-ball 8-12 inches behind the pink at a slight angle and practise screwing back about a foot - no more.
