  • Hi chaps and chapesses.....

I'm new to the boards, having been an avid reader.

Yes, I'm snooker daft, and love the game- looking forward to some debate/banter/chat with you lot.

Alex Higgins is snooker's all-time greatest genius, IMO, we would have no modern game without him. It's just a pity that the television cameras missed the majority of his prime in the 70s.

Of today's generation, there's a glut of talent: Stephen Maguire, Neil Robertson, Selby, Ding Junhui, with the 'old guard'- Higgins, Hendry, O'Sullivan, Williams, Stevens, Doherty and Ebdon- still warding the young scamps off, just.

    Seeyas around,

    ff.

    Hi and welcome.

Judging by your first few posts - things are going to get livelier around here.
"You can shove your snooker up your jacksie 'cos I aint playing no more!" Alex Higgins.

Welcome fudgeflaps. I'm really enjoying your posts and whilst I don't really know enough about snooker to comment, I do love to read different opinions.
                    Keep them coming.
