Hi
Introducing myself to you all. My name is Ray, and am a reasonable club player, and pot well. My main problem with this great game of snooker (I have to add that I am a fanatical soccer follower too - Pompey in the Prem), is cueing to the very best possible.
I suppose we are all trying to improve in different ways, but my main problem, as with many other players, is getting good smooth follow through, which helps with screw shots. Too often I find myself stabbing, and finding myself with a stunned cue ball. Top spin is far easier, but I have to develop getting the cue through the cue ball by about 6" in order to get decent screw on the cue ball.
More difficult than it seems, at least for me.
I hope to be learning more about this problem, from the many better players than myself on this forum.
