Hello, first post.

Just like to say hello to everyone.
I joined this forum because after taking up the game again recently i am looking to play some amateur snooker tournaments.
The club i play at doesn't offer me any challenge in regards of standard of play.Although i am approaching my 42nd birthday and despite a lay off of several years i still play to a decent standard.
I have a good overall matchplay game and score quite heavily [ over 550 centuries at last count].
I don't take the game overly seriously anymore but would still like to play better players.
If anyone knows of any Amateur tournaments or Pro Ams in and around the London area i would appreciate it.

Sorry i have not responded to the welcome i have had on here , but i have been away.
Thank you all for your kind words and i look forward to talking to you all in the future.
I have never played on a professional basis but i have played hundreds of Pro Ams and have had a few impressive scalps along the way.
My highest break is 139 as you rightly guess.
