  • Hello world! Hello TSF!

I've come to this forum at the recommendation of a big german "social networking platform" (how I hate this phrase!) called studivz.net where someone claimed TSF to be much more interesting than german snooker forums - well we'll see
I've played carambole for some years, though that was a long time ago. I even played some snooker when I was in GB on a student exchange program, but as far as I remember I was lost in rules and lost the matches as well.
Watching Snooker on Eurosport, brilliantly commentated upon by Rolf Kalb, fascinated me almost immediately. After only watching for about a year I tried it with some friends in a local place called "Stars & Stripes". As the name suggests, they mostly featured pool tables. However, all tables - including the sooker tables - were in miserable condition. What I found out there nonetheless was that I liked snooker.
Some months ago I found a place with seven tables in very good condition just minutes awy from home, played some hours a week and finally registered with the club there.
    That's all for now
