I am an Aussie who recently returned from a trip to the UK when the Edinburgh Grand Prix happened to be on, and was shown on tv everyday. I really enjoyed watching this, and it was enough for the bug to bite.
While i have been an 8 ball player for about 8 years now, i hadnt really got into snooker, but this looks like changing now!
As i am in the process of getting myself a decent snooker cue, i would appreciate any recommendations with regard to tip size, brands, etc. I currently have Barracuda silver medal (machine spliced) 3/4 cue with about a 10mm tip. Would love to hear from any aussies especially who may know of some good places to try and buy. Budget is probably up AU$500 or so.
