Hi, I am not a snooker player but joined the forum as I am seeking genuine advice from all of you experts on a full size snooker table we have in a club which we have to move sideways for a Christmas event. Any expert advice please from those in clubs on how you go about lifting them / sliding them sideways etc? We are c oncerned that there may be lifting points etc or is this not an issue, is it purely a case of enough bodies etc

Immensely grateful for advice guys! E mail responses to slatermail@talktalk.net would be appreciared even more

    Happy Christmas!

you would do well to get the table lifted by "enough bodies", though its not impossible.

removing the slates first would be ideal

      Thanks

Thanks Semih, we have to move it and replave it over 24 hours, so taking the slates off are not an option but thanks for thinking about it Andie

We move tables sideways at Chandler's Ford for exhibitions.

Lift each side just enough to slip a metal beer tray under each leg.

Then gather some bodies and push, but don't lift.

          It works.

            Thanks to all

I would like to thank those who have replied, it was very nice of you. Tim, snooker dad's idea with beer trays is just the ticket, blessings on you for helping!
