Hi everone.
My name is Mark and i live in Spain although i am English.
I was a keen snooker player in my teens and early 20s and reached a decent standard having reached the final of the Bradford championship in 1996 and in the same year won the Bradford doubles. I stopped playing snooker for about 8 years (i took up golf) until moving to Spain in 2005 were i stumbled upon a little bar which has 4 snooker tables and has twice weekly competitions. At first there used to be about 6 to 8 brits playing in the comps but as word got round we now have about 20 regulars including Spanish, German & Eastern European.
Anyway if you live near Alicante or holidaying and fancy a game the bar is The Hillside In La Marina, about 20 mins south of the airport.
