Hello everybody,
have been lurking in this wonderful forum for quite some time now, and finally decided to register.
I am German, male, and 40 years old. My interest in snooker started in the early/mid 90s thru a computer game ("Jimmy White's Whirlwind Snooker" for the Amiga, if anyone remembers), and was fueled by the European Snooker League broadcasted on Screensport ("Sportkanal" in Germany) at that time. When Screensport got defunct, snooker was no more regularly available and fell out of my radar, but with the boom on Eurosport a couple of years ago I caught fire again, and this time it's worse than ever: Besides watching the game on TV and occasionally live (German Open / PHC), I even started playing myself, although this isn't really worth mentioning (my highest break is 25, what many of you would hardly call a "break" ).
That's it for now. Don't know if I'll post a lot (I'm more the lurking type), but at least wanted to let you know I'm around.
Cheers,
volunteer
