Hello from Finland!

I've been lurking on this forum for quite a while now, and finally decided I might as well introduce myself. My name's Sini and I've been a fan for many years, ever since Eurosport began showing snooker. I found this forum last spring and was delighted to find other lovers of the game - apart from my dad I know of no-one else who follows snooker at all, so it's nice to read other people's takes on the players and tournaments.

Welcome from israel.. So how popular snooker in Finland? here in Tel aviv its quite popular thanks to eurosport. I know finland has a pro player- Robin hall. is he still on the main tour?

Thanks Eurosport has helped a lot of people discover the sport here as well. Sadly, Robin Hull is no longer on the main tour.

I also think that Eurosport helped a lot to get more people being interested in snooker. I personally wouldn´t even know that snooker exists if I didn´t switch the channels years ago because the other programmes were so boring
