  • Hello from the Isle of Man

    Hey

I have already posted a couple of replies to some threads, so I thought I would introduce myself.

My name is John and I live in the Isle of Man.

The standard of snooker here is Ok, we have a cluster of players who are capable of making tons regularly in practice, however not many have made century breaks in matches.

I have just started playing again after 5 years out of the game. I am finally starting to get rid of that rust on my cueing arm!!

I have had approximately 30 century breaks in practice, my highest being 135 which I have had twice. Both were total clearances and in the first of these I ended up taking a yellow and brown of the last two reds!! Gutted now!! LOL

I would be interested in chatting to anyone who has played on the Isle of Man otherwise I look forward to chatting to you all on different threads.

All the best to you all for 2009.

    Regards
    John

Hi John. That's quite an impressive amount of centurys you made! I'm sure you will enjoy your time on tsf!

      Thanks Spike.
In truth it should have been a lot more, however I have a terrible habit of breaking down when I get near to a century. I have probably had twice that number of 90 breaks! It's difficult to stop that arm twitching!! LOL

I guess ideally we should be able to play a black when you are on 93 in the same way as if you were on 9. The game is hard enough without a twitchy arm!! LOL
