                  Thanks for the msgs.

answering Ranen's question - Michaela was born with a cue in her hand - she plays ?? thats an understatement - she lives to play and plays to live .. kidding m8.. that was supposed to be a joke incase you missed it

Phil - its great being here.. snooker is very popular in India - more and more youngsters have started playing the game and since India has had some history in snooker and billiards I think it would gain more popularity over time.
The heat doesnt really affect playing because every place has air-conditioning so its rather cold than hot .. and more over snooker is played in bigger cities in India like Mumbai, Delhi, Pune, Banglore etc.. how about Switzerland.. is it very popular there ?

nope, it's not very popular here. we have maybe 6, 7 snooker tables in an one hour drive area. most people here, even those who are member of the club I am in, play Pool. (sometimes I think they just don't understand the rules...).

sometimes kids play snooker with their parents but they loose interest pretty quick (I don't see a point in playing snooker with an 8 year old for 3 hours, unless he loves it).

Hi and Welcome Ravi. I used to live in U.P. and played a bit of snooker over there in Noida.

                      Happy posting.
