Hello Michael & welcome to TSF. I have to say you've taken some really nice photos.
How you long you been a Snooker photographer for?

I have taken snooker pics on and off over the years, I think I'd be doing snooker maybe for 7-8 years, but last weeks event was very good. I have never did a masters before

            Ha Ha ok

Hay I got one question for you about camera noise!!!! I recently upgraded from a 400D to a 450D and soon will be getting the all new 5D MKII but the 450D is alot louder than the 400D, do you get problems with the noise of the shutter being so close to the players?

You can only take a photo when a player only hits the cue ball, or when they are walking around the table. You dont need to buy the Mark III, but the 40D would be fine. For snooker, its a slow game, you can take the same image 100 times! When I take tennis I take 2,000 images, from snooker about 150 images.

Ronnie missed a red in the final, myself and a other photographer took the same photo, he looked over at us!! But maybe he was looking at the score board! (that was over us!)
