I have to say today has been some of the most entertaining snooker I've ever seen. Didn't really expect to like this but I could see it being a regular fixture and a really great event.

Argh, Tony looked really good for the win there, can't believe that black went in (and the white didn't).. Tony was very gracious in defeat, that's a great attitude to have.

Lines won it was close though, higgins made a 40 in about 40 seconds but was still 7 points behind when the time ran out.

Robertson, what a star! that was brilliant. How can anyone not be enjoying this? McManus looked like he wanted the floor to open up and swallow him. I agree with missneworleans in terms of ditching the power snooker in exchange for another one of these!

Not keen on this format, its loud brash and more adapt to darts fans. Snooker has sold out and this wont bring in more fans to the tradition events but if it does will they be mouthing off during the players shots in those events too?
