I am sure Scotland puts the clocks back on the same day we do in England.

Otherwise the deadline for the Final is 2:30 BST rather than GMT.

Perhaps one of our Scottish compatriots can confirm this!

Actually there is play on the Thursday. I was fooled initially by that, but if you look carefully, the booking form says 25th and 26th, 1:30 and 7:30.

They must have only two tables.

Great schedule! As I am rather busy at the mo, this is a nice overview to store in my diary!

I'm going to be in New York from the 22nd to the 27th, so will miss the predictions
You play a long slow deadweight red to a corner pocket. As it approaches the pocket, a kamikaze woodlouse crawls out from under the cushion and makes its way across the table, conflicting with the path of the red precisely at the point the red gets there. The red, needless to say, veers off course, and the future of the woodlouse is uncertain. - The Statman

There must be Internet Cafes in big apple, surely. Hotels might have internet access anyway. No excuse!

I don't particularly want to go into a internet cafe when on holiday, how many would I have to predict if I did it before?

Well, with 48 people left in the tournament, any of whom could meet any other in one of the rounds between the last 16 and the final, I believe that is 47+46+45+...+3+2+1 = 1128 pairings. You would have to predict each one three times, once for a best-of-9, once for a best-of-11 and once for a best-of-17.

That's a total of 3384 sets of predictions for what will turn out to be 15 matches, not a good economy rate!

or one could put in a 5-2, 6-2, 9-3 regardless for each round. Some people seem to have done just fine predicting like that

Yes. Why not just predict the results, 5-2, 5-0, 3-5, 4-5, 5-3, 4-5, 5-1, 3-5 for the last 16 and do the same for the quarters, semis and final.

You'd be most unlucky to score nothing!

I'll do that when I get home
