Below are the results of the Malta Cup Semi-final predictions.

Congratulations to rivercard for winning the round – the only Predictor to pick up full marks.
Please note that nobody gained a bonus point for correctly predicting the highest break, which was 123.
A quick word about the difficulties that arose when I deleted the wrong pairing from the thread: It is a fundamental part of the contest that someone should not be disadvantaged if they follow my opening thread. (The Rule, of course, expected that such a mistake would affect lots of people, not just one.) I was therefore a little reluctant to include the Ebdon match, but found that rivercard would have been the winner even without it. I thought it would be a good idea to give the affected Predictor a free point (especially as it does not affect the Round and is unlikely to affect the Overall winner). So I have randomly selected five Predictors and sought their opinion – the majority verdict will decide. A decision has now been reached and the affected Predictor has been awarded an extra point. As you see it is chrisfinch (named in blue) and it does not affect the overall results.
