  • NI First Round – Results

Below are the results of the First Round Prediction Contest.

Please check your score (and anyone else's as you wish) and report any discrepancies WITHIN 48 HOURS of the date/time displayed at the top of this message, by replying on this thread.

You are reminded that queries raised more than 48 hours from now cannot normally be considered for alteration.

May I congratulate dawnie on becoming the first Predictor Champion of the 2006-07, and also thank everyone for not making me go through the tie-break procedure!

Also please note that April madness gains an extra point (not shown below) for correctly guessing the highest break, which was 122.

I've been hitting the predicitons so well in practice lately, and it feels good that the effort I have put in this summer has paid off. Hopefully I can learn from the mistakes I made and improve till next round starts.

11 points (and in very good company) after a rather slow start, surprised myself.

              wow much better than expected
You play a long slow deadweight red to a corner pocket. As it approaches the pocket, a kamikaze woodlouse crawls out from under the cushion and makes its way across the table, conflicting with the path of the red precisely at the point the red gets there. The red, needless to say, veers off course, and the future of the woodlouse is uncertain. - The Statman

Agree with you about Davies although he played 2-3 bad shots in that last frame

statman is this competition cumulative so round two starts with the leader on 13 and so on !!

There is each individual round, plus the OVERALL NI Champion, plus the OVERALL SEASON champion, so yes, it is cumulative, but there are winners in individual rounds as well.
