  • NI Second round – results

Below are the results of the Second Round Prediction Contest.

Please check your score (and anyone else's as you wish) and report any discrepancies WITHIN 48 HOURS of the date/time displayed at the top of this message, by replying on this thread.

You are reminded that queries raised more than 48 hours from now cannot normally be considered for alteration.

There was a three-way tie which was resolved in the following way:
    (a) Number of correct match winners. This was 15 in each case.
    (b) Frames difference between actual and predicted results, where correct winner was predicted. Scores were: Nugget 14; snooky147 16; Cyril 18.

So, congratulations to Nugget for winning the round.

Also please note that Valderie and Dantuck 7 gain an extra point (not shown below) for correctly guessing the highest break, which was 131.

Well done Nugget. I'm in good company with my 19 points lol. Shame Ebdon lost or I would have had 16 out of 16

Hegeland, if it helps you somehow, I have heard about a research (about football btw.) which concluded, that predictions are ususally better by people who are only semi-informed vs. those who have in depth details.

This does explain why I came in second to the football world cup predictions contest at work. :-)
