just a thought statman as this is helping me as anyone else but when the rules for the premier league say its 1point if your score prediction is one out-would it not have been fairer had it been one point if you got the correct result instead of being one out. for instance if you predict a 3-3 and the result is 4-2 or vice versa then in reality you have got the result incorrect.

just an idea without wanting to make it too complicated for you

any comments or thoughts sir !!!

Yes I thought hard about it, but came to the conclusion that, technically, this was the correct way to go about it. As all six frames are played regardless, it is the amount adrift you get the scoreline, rather than who wins, that is important. Take someone who leads 4-0 but only goes on to win 4-2: in essence predicting 3-3 is better than predicting 6-0.

              Hi Statman,
Is it possible for me to post predictions for Thursday (19th) matches at this point. I missed posting last week as the computer I use in my library crashed.
              If it's a problem, that's ok.

If it's ok, Here are my predictions.

2-4 Jimmy White v. Steve Davis (Grimsby)
2-4 Stephen Hendry v. Ken Doherty (Grimsby)
              High break 124
   Hello Snooker Peeps!

No problem. The two match predictions are in, but I cannot accept a high break prediction now.
