  • PL Period 3 – Results

Below are the results of the Prediction Contest for Period 3.

Please check your score (and anyone else's as you wish) and report any discrepancies WITHIN 48 HOURS of the date/time displayed at the top of this message (or 'laste edited' time at the bottom), by replying on this thread.

You are reminded that queries raised more than 48 hours from now cannot normally be considered for alteration.

There was a five-way tie for first place, which was resolved in the following way:
Closeness to highest break: kellie-text, 116; The Statman and Valderie, 131; IRONFIST, 138; dantuck 7, 141; actual, 112.

Thus, congratulations to kellie-text for winning the round.

Also please note that Nugget and Robert602 gained an extra point (not shown below) for correctly guessing the highest break, which was Ding Junhui's 112.

The Statman did of course also mean a five-way tie, not a seven-way tie....

            I think

He probably did. But he's forgiven, he has the Grand Prix Round Robin stuff to worry about. That has GOT to be a statistical nightmare!

              GOOD LUCK Mr. The Statman!

                      Well done Kellie Text!

i am in the bottom of the league. My predictions are as cr*p as my snooker play lately. I lost 3-0 wednesday evening.

I played with the Paul Hunter signed cue. maybe it was not a good idea. I better dont play with it anymore. keep it as a memory.

Never mind Paul, maybe you'll do better in the Grand Prix. I just got lucky this week.

I will beat you this year, Paul! I have practised long and hard for this. Soon I will taste the sweetness of victory. Promise.

About the cue, if you're feeling any discomfort using it, use another one at least for some time til things have cooled off a bit if you know what I mean. Good luck!
