  • PL Period 4 – Results

Below are the results of the Prediction Contest for Period 4.

Please check your score (and anyone else's as you wish) and report any discrepancies WITHIN 48 HOURS of the date/time displayed at the top of this message, by replying on this thread.

You are reminded that queries raised more than 48 hours from now cannot normally be considered for alteration.

There was a three-way tie for first place, which was resolved in the following way:
Number of matches in which points were scored: dawnie, 4; Mitsuko, 4; Valderie, 3.
Closeness to highest break: dawnie, 118; Mitsuko, 125; actual, 108.

Thus, congratulations to dawnie for winning the round.

Also please note that nobody gained an extra point for correctly guessing the highest break, which was Ronnie O'Sullivan's 108.

    Well done Dawnie
You play a long slow deadweight red to a corner pocket. As it approaches the pocket, a kamikaze woodlouse crawls out from under the cushion and makes its way across the table, conflicting with the path of the red precisely at the point the red gets there. The red, needless to say, veers off course, and the future of the woodlouse is uncertain. - The Statman

Hey - I'm getting better at this. Such a shame that Stephen Hendry played so badly though.

I prefer the shot clock in snooker. I score more points with it.
