chasmmi, as far as I know he withdraws only from playoffs - there haven't been any prediction done yet, I don't see why predictions shouldn't count? we were not predicting who will get through to the semifinals, I think.

I don't think he's talking about predictions. He's talking about the matches he has played in the round robin format. Will they count as to other players' losses and wins and draws or will they be void as Mark Williams's matches in the Grand Prix.

I think they will count as he would have completed all his league matches. except that his place in playoffs will take someone else (the first below the line)

It is my understanding, as far as he is playing, the result certainly will count. His final opponent is Stephen Hendry, and I suppose Hendry really has to fight hard this time to stand any chance to get a place in the semi, God knows these days he could even be humiliated by White 1-5.
