Mathematically, by saying 6:0, your saying that the ratio is 6:0 - out of every 6 frames 'a' wins 6 and 'b' wins 0.

      In the same way, out of every x frames, 'a' wins x and b wins x - a (i.e. 0)

Therefore, with a first-to-seven prediction, the ratio would be a:b when a is equal to x.

This makes the prediction in a first-to-seven format just 7:0.

Using this logic, I think a tie was a very good option Statman

The only thing with that is that, for predictions other than 6-0, you would not end up with a whole number. A decision of 7-3½ would be very harsh for someone who had said 6-3 and then was deemed not to be correct for either 7-3 or 7-4! Anyhow, it's done now!

Nobody apart from me can delete their posts - and I can only delete my own posts, not other people's.
