Here is Chasmmi's prediction for the Hendry match:

9-7 Stephen Hendry v. Dave Harold

Apologies for this balls-up! The Hendry match can now be included in the contest.

We have to have a balls-up every now and then just to remind us of how smoothly everything runs the rest of the time!

        Quite right The Statman

I mean, this is clearly an isolated incident, it's not as if we just got the duration of the previous final wrong now is it...

        Where's my coat?

          Hmmmmmm.

To be fair, I don't know of anyone who knew well in advance that the match length was to be lengthened. Or if they did, why didn't they mention it?

I'm only teasing TS. You do an incredible job. I do prediction games for major events like World Cups, European Championships, Olympics, etc and appreciate the amount of effort that goes into these things.

I just can't help the sarcastic comments every now and then I'm afraid.

            Keep up the good work!

I knew (hoped) you were only teasing!

Just quirky fortune that you were affected by both balls-ups!

Hmm, this stupid person forgot O'Sullivan v. Walden altogether. Ah well. :-)

                  I forget to say that:

9-7 Stephen Hendry v. Robert Milkins, OR
9-5 Stephen Hendry v. Dave Harold

We're not allowed to change predictions for games that haven't started yet are we Statman?

Why wouldn't we be allowed to do that? As long as the match haven't started, no harm done.

The deadline was December 6th. The Statman only allowed people who hadn't predicted the Hendry match because The Statman forgot it to predict it later. So if you take that, you can't change your mind after the deadline.

Indeed. Your latest predictions before the deadline will count.

                                NOOOOOOOOOOOO!!! ****

Oh well, I'll peacefully campaign for a change of rules then. Or would that be too much trouble for you, Statman? I thought it didn't matter as along as the match hadn't started?
