Welcome to the 2007-08 Prediction Contest
Hello and welcome to the Predictions Contest for the coming season. May I apologise that I had not realised that I had not upfdated this welcome message until now, when the first round has passed!
Hopefully you will all find it simple to use and fun to partake in.
Here are a few pointers:
RULES

DO NOT edit your post once you have posted it – this will make it void! You may alter your predictions by making a new post.
Essentially, when you notice a new thread inviting you to predict, all you have to do is cut and paste (or 'quote') my opening message, paste it into your reply and add your predicted scores. Hopefully, it couldn't be simpler!
TIMETABLE
All ranking events are covered and the first round predictions threads for each tournament are opened usually about a week before the first day's play. For later rounds, the predictions thread is always opened at least 24 hours before play commences.
As well as the ranking events, The Masters will be included, as will the Premier League. For the Premier League, the season is broken down into chunks, each of which is considered as a 'round' – these chunks are two or three weeks' games, depending on the dates.
ROLL OF HONOUR
A roll of honour will be put in place once the first tournament has finished, and will be updated throughout the season. Here is last season's: http://www.thesnookerforum.com/seaso...nour-1727.html
PRIZES
There are hopefully going to be prizes for the Overall Champion in each Tournament, and for the Seasonlong Contest winner – which is all the rounds throughout the season, added together.
