Below are the provisional results of the Semi-Finals Prediction Contest for the Grand Prix.
Please check your score (and anyone else’s as you wish) and report any queries within 24 hours of the date/time displayed at the top of this thread. Any queries raised after this time will not be considered. (Please note that any queries are unlikely to be checked within a week while I am in Scotland; but they must nevertheless be raised within 48 hours.)
A quick reminder of the scoring: 2 points for the correct winner and scoreline; 1 point for the correct winner with incorrect scoreline.
There was a 5-way tie for first place, which was resolved by way of the highest break predictions:
Actual: 138
JPK123: 130 (8 adrift)
RaNeN: 148 (8 adrift)
Scissors61: 128 (10 adrift)
Kingscratcher: 121 (17 adrift)
Nina: 114 (24 adrift)
With the top two still equal, it goes down to whomever posted their predictions the earlier – and JPK123 wins the tie-break on this basis.
Therefore, provisional congratulations to JPK123 for winning the round.
Please note also that drlog147 gained a bonus point (not included below but marked with a *)for correctly predicting the highest break of the round, which was Shaun Murphy’s 138.
