Below are the results of the Semi-Finals Prediction Contest for the Masters.
Please check your score (and anyone else’s as you wish) and report any queries within 48 hours of the date/time displayed at the top of this thread. Any queries raised after this time will not be considered.
There was a five-way tie for first place, which was resolved by looking at the difference between predicted and actual frame scores (because 3 points was top score, number of correct winners predicted is by definition still a tie):
drlog147: total difference 1 frame
Qubit: total difference 1 frame
StunShot: total difference 2 frames
dantuck 7: total difference 3 frames
Enravota: total difference 3 frames
The remaining two-way tie was resolved by looking at the highest break prediction:
Actual: 107
drlog147: 127
Qubit: 106
Therefore, congratulations to Qubit for winning the round.
Please note also that nobody gained a bonus point for correctly predicting the highest break of the round, which was Mark Selby’s 107.
