Below are the results of the First Round Prediction Contest for the Northern Ireland Trophy.
Please check your score (and anyone else’s as you wish) and report any queries within 48 hours of the date/time displayed at the top of this thread. Any queries raised after this time will not be considered.
A quick reminder of the scoring: 2 points for the correct winner and scoreline; one point for the correct winner with incorrect scoreline.
There was a two-way tie for first place, which was resolved by considering the number of matches for which points were scored:
ronnieisthebest: scored for 11 matches;
missneworleans: scored for 12 matches.
Therefore, congratulations to missneworleans for winning the round.
Please note also that Matt01, Nott and StunShot gained a bonus point (not included below but marked with a *) for correctly predicting the highest break of the round, which was Ian McCulloch’s 136.
I will make a quick mention for highlander69, who was a latecomer and thus had only 6 matches to predict on – but nevertheless managed to score a respectable 7 points.
