    • It is painful to watch. I still believe, but more in hope now that he can turn it around. I don't know if he has used a sports psycholgist, but that looks to be what is missing in his game to get the belief back. He is beating himself at the minute and before the match he just looked like he didn't want it anymore. Come on Stephen, speak to someone to get the game sorted out. It has worked for others.

        • That was terrible from both Davis and Hendry, they played like they should have been somewhere else.

          • That was some of the worst standard snooker I have seen. Bar Joe Perry it was pretty shocking, I demand my money back!

              • Last year Davis made 143 against ROS in PL, so he can still win a frame with one visit. He has said that he doesn't have the motivation to practice, but considering how well he has played in ranking tournaments so far this season, I was expecting he would do a little better than be whitewashed. Perhaps it's just the way he has come to terms with his age and lack of practice. His game is more defensive now, but I would like to see someone else playing at his level when they are at his age. Players attitudes have changed - more of less in evry sport- but still I think there is something special in a player that just keeps going. His matches may often be painfull to watch, but very exciting at times. Never mind winning or at least comfortable winning - it's the tense deciding frames I want to see.

                • I went to the Premier League in Plymouth yesterday, very good, I did enjoy it, but not very good performance from Davis. I met Joe Perry and Neal Foulds!

                  • Don't you think that this years Premiere league is very poor? There are three competitors (Davis, Hendry and Ding) not performing at all.

                    • I was there, too! Was awesome, totally worth the 17-hour trip. Met Ronnie, Joe and Clive Everton. Got pics with all of them.
                      So yes.

                          • Pictures when I get home, since I'm away on hols.
Match wasn't extremely spectacular but I was there, followed every shot, seen things not seen on telly (gestures, reactions...), enjoyed the atmosphere, because the venue was packed, treated myself with one white and one black from the lobby (balls, snooker balls ), got a copy of Snooker Scene as pressie from Clive Everton...
All in all, was great and beyond expectations.

                            • You should have come a week earlier to a proper tournament . (not venue though)

                              Nice you enjoyed it though.
