Well Selby is through and Davis is definitely out. O'Sullivan and Perry almost there just needing a draw apiece from their remaining matches to make sure. Ding should make up the four if he beats Hendry. Hendry needs to win both his remaining matches to guarantee a semi-final place - not a tall order judging by his performance in Bahrain. Higgins is dependent on other results now.

Also it must be noted that Neal Foulds managed to get from Bahrain to the Premier League tonight fine so I am sure Davis could've too.

Yes, it's the same in at least some other sports as well, in that they buy the coverage and then use the TV for their commentary - occasionally the screen has problems, but sound is ok and they'll not be able to tell you anything. They don't have a commentary booth at the crucible for example, so can't imagine they went to Bahrain.

Well I didn't think they did go but they did talk about the position of their commentary box during one match.

I've done some counting today...
If I'm not mistaken, O'Sullivan can lose to Hendry even 0-6 and still be in the semifinal if Higgins drops 2 frames in 2 of his matches.
Hendry is most probably out if he loses to Ding, but two draws or loss to Ronnie and win over Ding might just be enough - will be counting frames won.
Higgins looks the worst of three, he basically needs to win 6-0 6-0 or 6-0 5-1 and for Ronnie to lose 0-6 and even then he's not certain to be fourth in the league table.

Ryan Day for Premier League! It'll be interesting actually to have Ebdon to see how he copes but I doubt he'll be invited due to his poor seasons in 2007/08.
