I think Selby is going to be raped by Ronnie tomorrow. Selby did a number on him at the Welsh Open so Ronnie is going to be prepared for Selby's tactics and I don't think he's going to willngly relinquish his pet title to this player inparticular...
I think you're correct and hope so too!
What time do they play?
I think Ronnie is going to win vey easily.Ronnie tends to be at his merciless best against players that are stated to be upcoming world champions such as Maguire,Ding junhui and Selby. He demolished Maguire in the UK final,He beat Ding in Masters and the World championships really badly.I think Ronnie is going to demolish Selby tomorrow.

Selby's a different animal than Maguire & Ding, alot wiser & calmer... Can get under anyone's nerves, the crowd included Ronnie really needs to up his game if he's to beat him tonight, he barely scraped past Perry last night. I really hope he can produces something like the form he showed in the WC semifinal and with Selby's current form we'd have a great match to watch :snooker:
is bet365 showing the final today? if not where can i watch it as i don't have sky sports.
Yes, bet365/betfair are on the air tonight. Probably the third link (above) is valid too.
I do not believe in an easy victory for either of the finalists. I think we are going to see an exciting all guns fire battle with slight advantage for Selby. Hope he wins, as ROS already has some 5 PL titels.

ROS has 7 PL titles. If he wins tonight it will be the fifth in a row. And I hope he will although he is neither in the best of form nor in the best of mental state while Selby is obviously the man on form.

Oops, sorry. Didn't want to diminish his acchievements. Just too lazy to look after stats Five was quite a close quess, though. As to the outcome, we shall see...

I know you are a Ronnie fan, but i think it's unfair and not right to Ronnie and others to constantly slate his mental state. He may not be in the best of form, but mentally his approach to the game and determination is admirable currently and has been over the last 12 months.

This is true. He is determined and disciplined. I mentioned it because I met him last week-end and I know what I saw... and this leads me to think that he's not the favourite for tonight's match. And this is not an "excuse" ... it is a statement without hidden agenda. People mix "mental state" and "mood". I have not said Ronnie is in a funny mood and would do daft things, not at all. But it's obvious for all to see that his game and in particular his long potting are far from their best ... and he himself is not at his best neither. But he will fight I have no doubt and I don't rule him out!
Yes, I think it will be a good final. Mark seems to enjoy the format and relaxes into it will and Ronnie of course has a great record in the PL and definitely wants it.
Oh my, Good Lord, who's the poor bloke making lame jokes with a tubular pink balloon and trying to swallow it? *headdesk* *facepalm*
Just for the record, poor balloon had two spherical prominences at one end.
Classy!
