  • Shanghai Round 2 – predict here

This is the thread on which you should make your predictions on the second round of the Shanghai Masters. This is also Round 2 of the Seasonlong Contest which will end with the 2008 World Final.

Please note the Rules (http://www.thesnookerforum.com/predi...-for-4242.html) – particularly, note that it is in your interest to use THIS MESSAGE as basis of your post, rather than basing it on a previous predictor's post in the assumption that (s)he has correctly copied the draw.

The deadline for posting your predictions is the sceduled start of play, which is 7:00a.m. BST on Thursday 9 August 2007. Any posts with a displayed time of 7:01a.m. or later on that day will be too late to be considered.

Here is the draw – remember, best of 9, FIRST TO FIVE:

    Adrian Gunnell v. Dominic Dale
    Ian McCulloch v. Ryan Day
    Stephen Maguire v. Matthew Stevens

You play a long slow deadweight red to a corner pocket. As it approaches the pocket, a kamikaze woodlouse crawls out from under the cushion and makes its way across the table, conflicting with the path of the red precisely at the point the red gets there. The red, needless to say, veers off course, and the future of the woodlouse is uncertain. - The Statman
