This is the thread on which you should make your predictions on the final of the Shanghai Masters. This is also Round 5 of the Seasonlong Contest which will end with the 2008 World Final.
Please note the Rules (http://www.thesnookerforum.com/predi...-for-4242.html) – particularly, note that it is in your interest to use THIS MESSAGE as basis of your post, rather than basing it on a previous predictor's post in the assumption that (s)he has correctly copied the draw.
Remember, for matches of this length, you get 2 points for correct winner and scoreline; 1½ points for correct winner with scoreline one frame adrift; 1 point for correct winner with other scoreline.
The deadline for posting your predictions is the sceduled start of play, which is 7:00a.m. BST on Sunday 12 August 2007. Any posts with a displayed time of 7:01a.m. or later on that day will be too late to be considered.
There is conflicting information as to the length, so please predict on BOTH best-of-17 AND best-of-19. On the Worldsnooker drawsheet it says 17, but on the intro article for the tournament it says 19 – I'd rather do both to be certain. If you choose to predict on only one length and the other is used, you will be able to score for the winner but not for the scoreline.
Here is the draw – remember, best of 17 or 19, FIRST TO NINE or TEN:
Dominic Dale v. Ryan Day
Finally please predict the overall highest break of the match:
