Below are the provisional results of the Final Prediction Contest for the Shanghai Masters.

There was a two-way tie for first place, which was resolved in the following way:
Closeness to highest break prediction:
austrian girl: 102; JPK123: 122; actual: 143

Therefore, provisional congratulations to JPK123 for winning the round.

Note also that nobody gained a bonus point for correctly predicting the highest break, which was Dominic Dale’s 143.

The draw that I put up was Dale-Day, not Day-Dale. Therefore you have technically taken it upon yourself to reverse the names.

All I do is look down the list and jot down the scores, based on the draw I provided.

I've learnt my lesson. I am sorry.
Things like these happen only when I am at work and when I am in a hurry.

I've done this before as well! Would be an idea for future rounds to have a form that then posts the results on the forum?

Sorry, that sounded a little bit moody and it was not meant to come out like that!

For what it's worth, even I have done it and I realise that it is easy to do!

I do usually spot it but I was myself in a hurry on Sunday morning when I jotted them down.

Anyway, that's why the 48 hours is there afterwards so you can query the score and everything can (hopefully) be put right before the results are confirmed.
