Below are the provisional results of the First Round Prediction Contest for the Welsh Open.
Please check your score (and anyone else’s as you wish) and report any queries within 48 hours of the date/time displayed at the top of this thread. Any queries raised after this time will not be considered.
A quick reminder of the scoring: 2 points for the correct scoreline; 1 point for correct winner with other scoreline.
There was a two-way tie for first place, which was resolved in the following way:
Number of correct winners predicted:
gingerale: 12
pat39: 11
Therefore, provisional congratulations to gingerale for winning the round.
Note also that nobody gained an extra point for correctly predicting the highest break, which was Stuart Bingham's and Judd Trump's 123.
