Below are the provisional results of the Semi-final Prediction Contest for the China Open.
Please check your score (and anyone else’s as you wish) and report any queries within 48 hours of the date/time displayed at the top of this thread. Any queries raised after this time will not be considered.
There was a thirteen-way tie for first place, which was resolved firstly by looking at frames difference between predicted and actual result:
1 frame adrift: Migtsf; Ranen
2 frames adrift: Case454; Graemespeak; Miss S; Odrl
3 frames adrift: Alex0paul; highlander69; Mauricio; Skypigeon; snookerloopy08; Wim
4 frames adrift: drlog147
The remaining two-way tie was resolved by looking at high break predictions:
Actual: 121
Migtsf: 147
RaNeN: 134
Therefore, provisional congratulations to RaNeN for winning the round.
Please note also that Miss S and thunder each gained a bonus point (not included below but marked with a *) for correctly predicting the highest break of the round, which was John Higgins's 121.
