This is the thread on which you should make your predictions on the First Round of the Grand Prix. This is also Round 8 of the Seasonlong Contest which will end with the World Final in May 2010.
PLEASE NOTE THAT FOR THE SECOND ROUND ONWARDS, THE RANDOM DRAW MEANS THAT THERE WILL BE A SHORT PERIOD BETWEEN THE PREDICTION THREAD OPENING, AND THE DEADLINE.

In order to speed up the results [I've] produced some VBA code to search through the predictions and extract the scorelines, however if people decide to enter 'ROS to win 6 nil...' it is unlikely that your prediction wil get entered! So do try and use this first message as the starting point.
The deadline for posting your predictions is the scheduled start of play, which is 1:00p.m. BST on Saturday 3 October 2009. Any posts with a displayed time of 1:01p.m. or later on that day will be too late to be considered.
