This is the thread on which you should make your predictions on the first round and wildcard round of the 2010 Masters. This is also Round XX of the Seasonlong Contest which will end with the World Final in May 2010.
Please note the Rules (http://www.thesnookerforum.com/predi...-for-4242.html) – particularly, note that it is in your interest to use THIS MESSAGE as basis of your post, rather than basing it on a previous predictor's post in the assumption that (s)he has correctly copied the draw.
The deadline for posting your predictions is the sceduled start of play, which is 11:00a.m. GMT on Sunday 10th January 2010. Any posts with a displayed time of 11:01a.m. or later on that day will be too late to be considered.
I will be away for most of this tournament so will be unable to post the threads for the quarter finals onwards. Could someone else (Alex / The Statman?) start the prediction threads for these?!
Anyway, here is the draw – remember, all matches are best of 11, FIRST TO SIX:
Wildcard round
Mark Williams v. Rory McLeod
Mark King v. Jimmy White
First round proper
Ronnie O'Sullivan v. Neil Robertson
Marco Fu v. Peter Ebdon
Ali Carter v. Mark Williams OR
Ali Carter v. Rory McLeod
Shaun Murphy v. Stephen Hendry
Stephen Maguire v. Mark King OR
Stephen Maguire v. Jimmy White
Ryan Day v. Joe Perry
Mark Selby v. Ding Junhui
John Higgins v. Mark Allen
Finally please predict the overall highest break of the above matches:
