I have to watch this old guy I play who I give a forty or fifty start ,he’s always putting the curser between numbers and is the first going to the marker board ,he always insists on trying to work the score out no matter what I tell him ,I had a 31 break and told him I’m on 57 now but he had to start pushing the curser up and doing it himself .The next frame I needed a snooker on the colours ,so I potted the brown so I could win by one without a re spot ,I then potted the blue and got a snooker on the pink ,after that I potted pink and black and he was trying to say re spot ,I said foul 6 on the pink yer c*** ,I’ve won by two points ,you’ve only put 4 on my score ,he got all funny about it ,trying to insist he had put 6 on ,went all moody about it as if I’ve cheated him Last week I fluked the first black on a 66 break ,black hit the middle knuckle and flew in down the rail to the green pocket ,he thought I was totally lucky to win as it was all a fluke ,lol .He’s totally competitive and can’t stand the fact that he’s not good at snooker ,he also won’t take advice very often from me when I try to help him get better ,makes me like beating him even more .We only play two frames as he’s not the quickest player ,but he’ll never change .

Eat plenty of fibre, don't smoke, partake of alcohol only occasionally and if it's within two miles then walk there. A good elk or a TS Long BA pressed tip glued to a brass ferrule on a well balanced cue that's long enough for your height while taking no notice of Nick Barrow or Dr. DaveSpeak up, you've got to speak up against the madness, you've got speak your mind if you dare
but don't try to get yourself elected, for if you do you'll have to cut your hair

When struggling to focus in a match, convince yourself your opponent has just run over your dog.
try and beat him, but do not beat him up.

We've got a labrador and he was fine once he'd gone to puppy training. 12 years on and he just plays dumb if he doesn't want to do something.

Use a tip pricker, not sandpaper. Sandpaper reduces the tip every time.

It's amazing how many players use sandpaper every time they play to keep the tip in the shape they like so it means they are reducing the tip on a daily basis.
The tip lasts so much long by just gently slightly roughening the tip surface with the pricker, I've used one for years.
I can generally tell who uses one and who doesn't as certain players have a new tip off me to fit every few months and they don't play lots lol.

Ordered some TS Long BA tips off AliExpress, which I've never used before. Took about 4 weeks but got a box of fifty for £4.67 inc delivery so mustn't grumble. I don't use them personally but fit them for a mate and I know a few people on here like them so thought I'd share.Last edited by Cue crafty; 15 January 2022, 11:36 AM.⚪ 🔴🟡🟢🟤🔵💗⚫🕳️😎
