This is the thread on which you should make your predictions on the semi-final of the Premier League. This is also round X of the Seasonlong Contest which will end with the World Final in May 2010.
Please note the Rules (http://www.thesnookerforum.com/board...ad.php?t=13755) – particularly, note that it is in your interest to use THIS MESSAGE as basis of your post, rather than basing it on a previous predictor’s post in the assumption that (s)he has correctly copied the draw.
The deadline for posting your predictions is the scheduled start of play, which is 7:30p.m. GMT on Saturday 28th November 2009. Any posts with a displayed time of 7:31p.m. or later on those days will be too late to be considered.
Contrary to what was announced earlier it seems semi finals will be first to 5 (best of 9) see http://www.premierleaguesnooker.com/fixtures.htm. To hopefully make this change clearer I have split up the joint semi-final and final prediction thread. Apologies for this late change, if anyone has posted their semi-final predictions on the previous thread and doesn't get a chance to include them here, I'll have a look through the previous thread and adjust if neccessary using the following rule.
NOTE: should the lengths of matches be any different, the scores will be adjusted proportionally so that the winner's score is correct – see Rule 11c (in the Rules link above) for an example illustration.
So, here is the semi-final draw – remember, best of 9 – FIRST TO FIVE:
John Higgins v. Shaun Murphy
Judd Trump v. Ronnie O'Sullivan
Finally, please predict the highest break:
