Below are the provisional results of the Semi-final Prediction Contest for the Shanghai Masters.
Please check your score (and anyone else’s as you wish) and report any queries within 48 hours of the date/time displayed at the top of this thread. Any queries raised after this time will not be considered.
A quick reminder of the scoring: 2 points for the correct winner and scoreline; one point for the correct winner with incorrect scoreline.
There was a four-way tie for first place, which was resolved by looking at the overall frame difference between actual and predicted results:
Kathrin ~ four frames adrift in total
Wim ~ five frames adrift in total ~ HB prediction of 128
Ellena ~ five frames adrift in total ~ HB prediction of 147
dantuck_7 ~ six frame adrift in total
Therefore, provisional congratulations to Kathrin for winning the round.
The highest break in this round was 102 by Liang Wenbo, which was predicted by no-one, but does settle the second and third places as shown above.
