Below are the results of the Semi-Final Prediction Contest for the UK Championship.
Please check your score (and anyone else’s as you wish) and report any queries within 48 hours of the date/time displayed at the top of this thread. Any queries raised after this time will not be considered.
A quick reminder of the scoring for these longer matches: 2 points for the correct winner and scoreline; 1½ points for correct winner and scoreline one frame adrift; one point for the correct winner with other scoreline.
There was a seven-way tie for 1st place between Rane, Looki, toupihiggins, Welshsteve, wildhoney28, masterwill86 and adrift which could not be resolved by looking at the correct number of match winners as they all predicted all SF winners. The next criteria is the frame difference between predicted and actual scores and then onto the highest break predictions....
Rane : 2.....HB132
Looki : 2......HB137
toupihiggins :2......HB128
Welshsteve : 2......HB144
wildhoney28 : 2......HB147
masterwill86 : 3
adrift : 3
So, provisonal congratulations to Rane for winning the round, as the highest break predictions was only 2 points out.
Please note also that highlander69 and Miss_S gained a bonus point (not included below but marked with a *) for correctly predicting the highest break of the round, which was 134.
