Below are the results of the Quarter Final Prediction Contest for the German Masters.
Please check your score (and anyone else’s as you wish) and report any queries within 48 hours of the date/time displayed at the top of this thread. Any queries raised after this time will not be considered.
A quick reminder of the scoring: 2 points for the correct winner with correct scoreline; one point for the correct winner with incorrect scoreline.
There was a seven-way tie for first-place between Rivers, HunRon, Kingscratcher, kellie-text, ore, The Boss and levon which could not be resolved by looking at the number of correctly predicted matches:
Rivers 4
HunRon 4
Kingscratcher 4
kellie-text 4
ore 4
The Boss 4
levon 3
Neither by looking at the frame difference between predicted and actual results:
Rivers 7
HunRon 7
Kingscratcher 8
kellie-text 8
ore 8

Finally, the tie between Rivers and HunRon was resolved by looking at the highest break difference:
Rivers 7
HunRon 9
Therefore, provisional congratulations to Rivers for winning the round.
Please note also that Mr P and spike gained a bonus point (not included below but marked with a *) for correctly predicting the highest break of the round, which was 140 made by Graeme Dott.
